This is a lovely 100% Silk Chiffon Fabric measuring 137 cm (54") wide, which is available in small range of 4 colours.
This quality weighs 34 grams per square metre or 8 mm (mommy). This fabric normally takes 48 hours to be with our customers.
Superba is a 100% Silk Chiffon fabric that is perfect for an overlay as it is extremely lightweight and semi transparent. The use of Chiffon gives an elegant, floaty appearance to a dress or gown. It can be difficult to work with due to its light and slippery texture and must not be machine washed as it is a very delicate fabric.
Superba Chiffon is quite similar to Marquis (100% Silk Georgette) but is a little smoother and more lustrous.
We also supply silk chiffon as Tempest in a full range of colours but at a narrower width 114 cm (45").
