Do you have products in stock?

We carry all of our products in stock in our warehouse which means that we can dispatch your order without delay and usually the same working day for orders placed before 2pm.  Very occa­si­onally, if we have just run out of stock and we are waiting on the re-order to come in, we will give you a time frame on when this is due in.

What is the minimum quantity I can buy?

We are happy to supply whatever quantity you wish, even less than a metre or part of a metre.  

How long does it take to receive my order from placement?

We aim to ship all orders received before 2pm same working day.

Goods are sent via UPS (courier) or via Royal Mail Special, both of which are guaranteed for delivery next working day and require a signature.

What does 'Cut length' mean?

We supply most of our qualities in rolls, but we are also happy to let you specify shorter lengths for purchase, albeit we charge a little more for this service.­  This means you can purchase just a metre or two, depending on your own requ­ire­ments.­  As stated above, we have no minimum on the amount of fabric you buy from us.

Is the border the same on both sides of a lace?

The majority of our laces have a scalloped border on both sides which match each other. Increasingly popular however are laces with different edges, which can help the dress maker or gives them great choice how to cut the pattern.

Can I see a sample before I order and how long does it take?

We are happy to supply 2 free samples across our range of lace, fabric and trims, including lace appliques (excluding crystal motifs and bodices).

These are only small swatches but allow you to see the colour, handle, quality and detail of a fabric. After the first 2 samples, we make a small charge to cover our costs.

We try to send all samples out on the same day of receipt, or at worst next day, using second class post.  To se what our samples look like click here.

What happens if I don’t like the product?

Within 14 days of order, we are happy to take back into stock full pieces in pristine condition and issue a full refund.

Part rolls will be taken back but with a 20% admi­nis­tra­tion charge. Cut lengths will be taken back but with a 50% admi­nis­tra­tion charge.

In most cases, we ask our customers to pay for the carriage.

Do you supply coloured lace?

Yes, we have a large range of coloured laces, which are both from stock and also dyed to order.

Can I visit the shop to make purchases?

Bridal Fabrics is part of DHJ Weisters Ltd, which is a weaving mill based in Darwen, Lancashire.  We have a large showroom here which is open weekdays 9am - 5pm to browse the full range of fabrics, lace, appliques and trim.

As such we are not a shop, but we warmly welcome visitors.  To enure we have a member of staff available to look after you, it's preferable to make an appointment to suit you. Please call us on 01254 700117.

Can I purchase your Laces and Bridal Fabrics from overseas?

We are very happy to supply our fabrics and laces anywhere in the world.

The web site is set up so that when you place an order, you will see a provisional shipping charge.

We will then check that this is appropriate and confirm it back to you for final payment.

Is there a limit on the number of samples I can order?

There is no limit on the number of samples that you can order though only the first two are free and there is a small charge thereafter.  If you are ordering a significant number of samples to show your customers, you may be interested in purchasing a sample book of laces, trims or fabrics.­  This is a professional way to display samples of our products and can be bought in volumes or you can make your own selection.

Do you store my personal and card details?
