Made from casein protein derived from surplus milk, this Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) approved fabric is transformed into a smooth, silk-like fibre through an advanced regeneration process. Unlike cellulose-based fibres such as viscose or rayon, milk fibre behaves more like wool, offering gentle warmth and comfort while remaining breathable and soft.

This dobby spot weave adds subtle texture and visual interest, elevating the fabric’s elegant appearance. Naturally odourless and incredibly gentle on the skin, it provides a luxurious hand-feel ideal for high-end garments.

Sustainably produced using minimal resources, this biodegradable textile requires only around 2 litres of water during manufacturing. It also offers natural benefits such as helping to regulate body temperature and support circulation when worn.

Available as a blend of casein protein and acrylonitrile or in its purest form, milk fibre is versatile and suitable for a wide range of clothing applications, from blouses and dresses to loungewear and layering pieces.
