One of the most popular and delectable fabrics for bridal is satin. We offer a diverse range silk and poly satin fabrics. Satin fabrics are renowned for their lustrous appearance and fluid drape though a heavier Duchess satin can have a more structured appearance. They feel beautifully smooth on the skin and have long been regarded as a queen amongst dress fabrics.

Crepe Fabric
Crepe fabric is much loved for its matte texture and drapey handle. The name comes from the French term "crêpe," which refers to the fabric's characteristic wrinkled surface. This texture is achieved through a specific processing technique that includes highly twisted yarns and special finishing methods.
Crepe is particularly loved for its fluidity and softness while maintaining a certain structure. These qualities make it an ideal choice for wedding dresses, where a fabric that offers elegant draping is required. Thanks to its natural fall and ability to gently follow the body's shapes, crepe is perfect for creating refined and sinuous silhouettes.
One of our most luxurious fabrics is called Temptation, an Ivory Silk Double Crepe with Sand Washed Finish that gives it a wonderful matte, soft texture. It measures 128 cm/50" wide and weighs 40 m/m. This is also available in white and cream.
This fabric has a lovely soft feeling and drapes beautifully. this fabric has no sheen and is luxurious when worn next to the skin. Ideal for flowing garments.
Mikado Fabric
Mikado fabrics are particularly popular as they offer structure but are also soft to the touch. We offer a good range of Mikado in both polyester and silk and also an Eco Mikado fabric choices. Known for being slightly grainy or textured on the surface, many Mikado fabrics benefit from a slightly raised or textured finish and this is part of the popularity of this elegant bridal fabric. This type of Dress Fabric is also soft and often has a slight sheen.
A luxurious silk blend Mikado with a smooth organza finish called Court is proving especially popular with couture clientele. A classic Bridal Ivory Mikado fabric with Organza finish made in a blend of silk and polyester, that measures 150 cm (59") wide.
This a very luxurious option, has a stunning finish and is woven in Italy. This is a crisp and springy product with a light and stiff nature. It is a wonderful option for creating voluminous designs with sculptural cuts.

If your goal is to create beautiful, chic dresses that combine beauty with a great lightness, chiffon fabric can help you achieve this. For a floaty and ethereal bridal look or for any other garment, chiffon fabric is a delicate and featherweight option suited to this look. Bridal Fabrics offers you a collection of silk chiffon fabric and polyester chiffon fabric to use in the creation of your dream dress. Organza Fabric
Organza is a fine, lightweight, sheer fabric with a crisp handle, that is ideal for bridalwear and evening wear alike, often as an outer layer to add a soft outline. As a way to create full skirts on a gown, nothing can beat organza for a graceful fall that produces attractive lines.
Organza fabric is a current bridal trend and is often used to create voluminous sleeves and blouses as well as for full dresses.
We currently offer a textured organza called Artist which is particularly en vogue. Superbly on trend this luxurious silk fabric has a matte, semi opaque finish. A gorgeous Italian plain 100% Silk Textured Organza in ivory that measures 145 cm (57") wide. Very like a Garza but with a tighter weave, this must be seen to be appreciated so do order a fabric sample.
Taffeta Fabric
Taffeta fabric is distinguished by its stiff and smooth texture that rustles slightly during movements. High-level couturiers and stylists often rely on taffeta as a choice to offer opulance and luxury combined. Taffeta is one of the most elegant and traditional fabrics, widely used for voluminous and refined gowns. The name comes from the Persian word 'Taftah' meaning woven fabric.
With a subtle sheen and excellent shape retention, taffeta is highly sought after for bridal and other ceremonial dresses. It is ideal for creating fitted bodices and structured skirts.
We have recently introduced two stretch taffeta fabrics into our collection called Abundance and Uniqueness - a heavier fabric. Both offer versatility for the designer. A more traditional silk taffeta is Amour, a luxurious ivory Silk Taffeta, that is perfect to use in wedding dresses, christening gowns, corsets, theatrical purposes and fancy dress and measures 137 cm (54") in width. It is a smooth crisp fabric - a classic taffeta!
