SuperBride: The Caped Crusader

The Bridal Fabrics team have arrived back from their trip to Paris Bridal 2018 and are extremely excited about their experiences in that fabled city! The exhibition is always a hotbed of new trends and one of these has really got everyone talking: the bridal cape.

It's safe to say that our team are head-over-heels in love with the look. Whether long or short, beaded or flowing, bridal capes are going to be big news in the coming seasons so we have selected four fabulous fabrics to inspire YOUR designs.

For beaded capes

Lanisha-Ivory Beaded LaceBeaded Ivory Lace: Lanisha

This is one of our most stunning designs and, if you've checked out our product portfolio, then you'll know that this is really saying something!

Highly-embellished with shimmering beads, reflective sequins, light-catching diamantes and soft, rich pearls in a unique design, Lanisha also features expert embroidery and cleverly-applied silver filigree wire. The design centres on layered floral motifs, each of which has a glittering diamante placed at its heart.

Brianna-Ivory Hand Beaded LaceHand-Beaded Ivory Lace: Brianna

This is a delightful Raschel lace and all of the embellishments have been carefully applied by hand.

Both of the edges of the lace are identical, featuring gentle scallops and an ethereal, feminine fringe.

For chiffon capes
