My Little Wedding Shop: Designer Couture Spotlight
My Little Wedding Shop is an independent bridal boutique that has been established since 2011. Located in a quaint market town in rural England, the boutique specializes in creating bespoke bridal wear. Owner and head designer Jennifer Bone and her team also produce a couture collection of wedding gowns under the Jane & Edward brand.
The name of the Jane & Edward brand at My Little Wedding Shop is a reference to Charlotte Brontë's classic novel 'Jane Eyre', which details the romance between the eponymous character and Mr Edward Rochester. The newest Jane & Edward collection is called 'Stardust and Silver' and, like many of Jennifer's unique weddingwear creations, makes use of material sourced from Bridal Fabrics.
The bridal couture dresses from the new 'Stardust and Silver' collection use several of our bridal lace designs, including North, Isabella, Yolanda, Victoria and Maria. The dress featured in these images was made using one of our exquisite ivory corded and beaded lace fabrics called 'Rochelle'.
A big, bold array of feminine flowers cascades over the body of this lace fabric, surrounded by hypnotically swirling patterns. The flowers are connected with ivory embroidery thread and double corded, with bead and sequin embellishments adding the crucial, magical finishing touch. The design is completed with matching scalloped edges.
