Lace Fabric: Geometric Gorgeousness

As reported in a recent edition of the Bridal Fabrics blog, many couture designers are now offering an exciting alternative to floral-themed wedding dress materials. Bridal lace fabrics created using geometric patterns are increasingly popular and there are lots of these tantalizing styles now available right here on our website. Here are three of our favorites...

Essence: Ivory Fringed Embroidery Lace

One of the characteristics of designs from the Art Deco movement was geometric lines. Created as an homage to this artistic style, Essence Embroidery Lace Fabric is immediately reminiscent of the roaring 1920s era, its strong, bold geometric lines making a lasting statement.

Completed with a loose fringe as a final, fabulous flourish, this lace fabric is artistic, elegant and sophisticated.

Beatrice: Ivory Beaded Embroidery Lace

Beatrice: Ivory Beaded Embroidery Lace

The name 'Beatrice' derives from the Latin for 'bringer of joy', making it the perfect moniker for this beaded lace fabric: exuberant, exciting and energetic, the material will certainly bring joy to its wearer.

Onto an ivory tulle base, the designer has created a mesmeric geometric design using lustrous ivory thread, before adding embellishment in the form of sequins, pearls and beads. Asymmetric edges (both sides are scalloped but the scallops on one side are far more prominent) increase both versatility and aesthetic value.

Designed for the bride with a taste for the unusual and unique, Barbara ivory beaded lace is a sparkling sensation.

A pattern of repeating vertical lines is embellished with a generous hand: sequins, pearls and a variety of beads are applied with glorious abandon.
