Here is part one of our bride guide for 2015.

Step Back in Time

Vintage glam is everywhere right now, from art deco wedding dress embellishments to sumptuously elegant beaded lace. It is impossible not to mention the hit TV series Downton Abbey here, as so many of the bridal gowns offered hints of that exciting era, with drop waists and floating sleeves abounding up and down the catwalk and catching every eye.

Get that vintage look with Roberta lace, available in a full palette of colour options. A delicate tulle is embellished with expert embroidery that forms a host of connecting garlands of flowers, each of which has been highlighted with darkly-coloured ivory beads, milky pearls and eye-catching silver sequins.

Team Roberta vintage lace with Leo crystal embroidery, a fascinating opulent piece that evokes a gentler, bygone era. Embroidered by hand in India, this quality wedding dress embellishment comprises a refined riot of pearls, sequins, filigree thread and diamantés.

Beautiful Backs

The back of the bridal gown is just as important as the front and the varied collection of interesting backs is much in evidence for the coming season. Whether daringly-low, keyhole-shaped or adorned with jewellery over an evocative illusion mesh, creating an exciting and unique rear profile is definitely in for 2015.

You are spoilt for choice when selecting from our unsurpassed range of nets and tulles that will allow you to create a dreamy, ephemeral and bang-on-trend back to your unique bridal dress. Our crystallised tulle is the ultimate in luxury: Swarovski crystals have been used to add that truly regal touch.

Colour me Softly

Pastel hues are set to be big next year, making third position to the traditional top spots always held by white and ivory lace. Warm tones, such as Latte, Gold, Pink and Peach were the most popular, though contrasting Powder Mint and Soft Taupe also held their own on the haute couture catwalks.

Many of our vast and varied range of bridal lace designs are available individually dyed to order in a rainbow of colour choices. Choose from favourites such as Maria, Adele and Sophia and match your choice with corresponding lace trim, lace appliqué and wedding dress embellishments.
