Miss Universe is the world's biggest international beauty pageant, coverage of which is watched each year by over half a billion viewers in more than 190 different countries. The most recent contest took place in December last year and was the 67th edition of the annual event.
Miss Universe 2018 was held at the prestigious IMPACT Arena, which is located close to Bangkok in Thailand. Last year's winner Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (from South Africa) handed over her hard-won crown to new winner Catriona Gray (from The Philippines), who beat 93 other hopeful entrants. The star-studded ceremony was hosted by supermodel Ashley Graham and comedian Steve Harvey with music provided courtesy of renowned signer-songwriter Ne-Yo.
