Get The Royal Look!

The Royal Wedding is only a few days away, and the most exciting part of the ceremony will be the design of Meghan Markle’s dress.

When Meghan Markle marries Prince Harry on May 19, undoubtedly one of the most exciting parts of the wedding ceremony will be the design of Meghan’s wedding dress. There have been many contenders for the dress designer, like Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen. But there has been one designer that everyone has been talking about for months. They are the Australian couple, Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, founders of the designer Ralph and Russo. They have been the most speculated of all the potential designers, and we can see why.

Here at Bridal Fabrics, we are very excited to see the completed dress in all its glory. We hope that Ralph and Russo can deliver a show stopping dress, and from what we’ve seen, they won’t disappoint. They did design Meghan’s engagement attire, and it was elegant and simple, yet so intricately designed as well. They’ve also designed some stunning wedding dresses for their own Summer 2018 line.

We’ve selected three of our bridal laces for you to create your own “royal” wedding dress.

Firstly, we have Amara. Amara is an elegant sea of floral designs, pearl beads and intricate designs. The floral, helix embroidered pattern is simply beautiful and eye-catching. The floral patterns are perfect for a Spring/Summer wedding dress!

Ivory Beaded Lace - Amara

Secondly, we have April, an extremely eye-catching lace with matching edges. It is embroidered with an ivory tulle base in a dense leaf pattern, and then hand embellished the edges of the leaves with small pearls. This is for the bride that wants to stand out from the crowd.

Ivory Beaded & Embroidered Lace - April

Finally, we have Ava. Ava is embroidered with an ivory thread onto a tulle background into a contemporary "Brocade" style pattern to create Ava Ivory Lace. The lace has then been embellished attractively with pearls, sequins and beads. We also offer this base pattern as a champagne lace called Albany with a little less embellishment.

Ivory Beaded Lace – Ava

We love these laces because they are all so elegant but eye-catching in their own way. Amara is a sea of floral patterns, while April is a bold leaf design, and Ava is an intricate wave of embellishments.

There is only a week to go until the Royal Wedding of Harry and Meghan, and we are really excited. We can’t wait to see Meghan in the showstopper dress, designed by Ralph and Russo. Keep an eye out on our social media as we build up to the big day. In the meantime, enjoy our range of laces that you can use to make your own “Royal” wedding dresses, like the three above.
