Platinum Bridal Fabrics continually adds to its extensive range of wedding dress material, laces and embellishments, in order to ensure the maximum possible choice for our customers. We have noted a sudden increase in the popularity of our crystal trims and, in response to demand, we have added four new choices to our selection.
Crystal trim is often used to add the finishing touch to a wedding gown, the narrow band of crystal-encrusted embroidery adding a sensual and enticing look when used at waist or bust. They are also ideal for the edges of garments, adding sparkle and drawing attention to the shapely cut of the dress. Our trims are named with a theme of space and the cosmos which bring to mind the exotic and mystical nature of these beautiful embellishments; Jupiter, Andromeda, Neptune and Polaris are just some of the many crystal trims, from the richly adorned to the luxuriously light, that Platinum Bridal Fabrics provide.
The first new crystal trim is Zodiac, a highly-embellished trim with interlinking, sequin-covered leaves and rosettes in a floral arrangement. The trim is further layered with beads of a Champagne hue, glistening diamantes and soft, ivory-coloured pearls. This is truly a luxurious choice and works particularly well with vintage lace.
With extensive use of sequins and glittering with tubular beads and diamantes, Galaxy dress trim is designed specifically for the bride who wants a glamourously daring dress with a truly astonishing 'Wow!' factor. Its heavy embellishments and eye catching repeating design make Galaxy a real head-turner.
Supernova crystal trim is as eye-catchingly explosive as its name suggests. Alternating softly-scalloped edges with more dramatic points, the trim boasts large diamantes and colourless sequins attached with metallic, Champagne-coloured thread. The sequins, along with the colourless round beads, capture light before reflecting it in a shimmering array of colour which is constantly changing with the ambient light of the environment. Another trim that works well with vintage lace, Supernova is bound to become a lasting favourite.
Our final new addition at present is the lovingly-detailed Solario. This sumptuous lace really has to be seen to be believed; its texture is exquisitely fine and its feminine design is classic, though the bold embroidery also gives it a pleasantly-contrasting, sleekly modern feel. At a delicate 5cm wide, its effect is at once subtle and essential.
