Have you checked out our latest collection of new bridal fabrics recently? Our dedicated ‘New Products’ section is constantly updated as our talented bridal team discover new wedding dress materials on their many sourcing trips all over the world. The section is currently packed with ivory lace as it is so in vogue at the moment - here are three of our hot picks from the latest in bridal lace couture at Wedding Dress Fabrics.

Ivory Lace - Chantelle

Are you a bride-to-be who dreams of making a big splash in her wedding gown? If you are, then this luxury embellished lace is the one for you! Dramatically undulating waves of leafy, floral patterns float dreamily across the fabric, punctuated here and there with provocative and eye-catching white feathers - feather lace is another hot trend for this season. Decorated all over with pearls and beads and highlighted with fine Champagne-colored filigree thread, Chantelle ivory lace has a heavy, regal drape and is truly aimed at the bride-to-be with passionate, eclectic tastes.

Ivory Lace Appliqué - Alaska

Flower appliqués are extremely feminine and flattering and Alaska is no exception. With elegant charm and stylish panache, this ivory lace appliqué comprises a pair of flowers entwined tightly together, with the larger supported by the smaller. Each petal has been lovingly created from soft, light matt satin and the flowers are centred with diamantes and pearls which reveal themselves in different aspects as light plays upon them.

Black Lace - Amy

It may be startling to see such a dramatic and powerful lace amongst all the ivory but Amy keeps strongly and proudly bucking the trend. We also supply Amy in ivory coloration but the black variety continues to find a prominent place in haute couture bridal fashion. Fringed, scalloped and embroidered all over with exquisite floral designs, this Chantilly lace is beyond beautiful.

Ivory Lace in Prime Position

There is an infinite rainbow of colors to choose from when using lace to create the perfect wedding gown. Though fashion constantly changes and these colors drift in and out of style, the two classic bridal dress colors - Ivory and White - never diminish in popularity.

Ivory and white wedding laces are in constant competition with each other for prime position and it can often be difficult to say just which one has the edge at any given time. Right now, however, the expert bridal couture team at Wedding Dress Fabrics are noticing a distinct and growing turn towards ivory lace and this is predicted to explode in the coming months -  you can make sure you are the most fashionable belle of the ball with our collection of more than 300 styles of ivory wedding lace!

Here we present three of our very favorite ivory wedding laces for your browsing pleasure.

Amy Ivory Lace

An absolutely perfect example of fine French Chantilly lace, Amy is a riotous display of closely-set motifs comprising a harmony of flowers and foliage. A fairly open tulle has been selected for this embroidery, allowing the flowers to stand out proudly and creating an absorbing effect. The lace is edged with a feminine fringe composed of the same cording used in the dense pattern, complementing and completing Amy ivory wedding lace.

Francesca Ivory Lace

Soft, delicate and diaphanous, Francesca ivory bridal lace features attractive double-scalloped borders, each of which is finished with a floral bouquet motif and pretty fringing. The flowers that compose the main body of the lace have a subtle yet extremely-effective shading and are repeated in the matching ivory lace trim also supplied by Wedding Dress Fabrics. Check out our gallery to see a gorgeous bridal gown made using Francesca ivory lace.

Zara Ivory Lace

The name ‘Zara’ derives from an ancient Arabic word meaning ‘blooming flower’ and so is perfectly suited to this exquisitely-designed ivory lace and matching trim. A Chantilly lace, Zara has been a big success with our couture designer customers and is the cream of our ivory lace collection. Large, striking flowers bloom boldly and dramatically upwards, extending from the fringed and scalloped border to the halfway point of the lace. Soft shading to the flowers, an interesting variety of weaving techniques and metallic silver filigree thread all work harmoniously and seamlessly together to add even more excitement to this most luxurious of ivory wedding laces.
