A Fabulous Finish with Bridal Appliques
The word 'applique' is from the French and means 'to attach'. Bridal appliques are thus attached to the wedding gown separately and can be used in many areas including the neckline and the reverse. Here are three wedding dress appliques available now from Bridal Fabrics.
Recently added to the Bridal Fabrics portfolio, Coral ivory corded appliques have quickly established themselves as a bestseller. Available in a choice of sizes, each of which is different, all of the appliques in the range work harmoniously together. Coral ivory appliques are based on a floral theme and are enhanced with 3D petals and the most elegant cordwork.
Emblazoned with laser-cut flowers of georgette and satin fabric, Columba ivory appliques are made using delicate tulle fabric as a base. Further embellishment is then added with subtly-shimmering pearls.
This image shows a flower girl dress made using these divine appliques and designed by Bridal Fabrics client Brenda's Bridal Boutique. Columba appliques are also available in white.
Magnificently regal, refined and elegant, Belinda lace appliques use two different cording deniers to achieve their wonderful effect. Designed with the creative dressmaker in mind, Belinda ivory appliques can be used to create unique and unusual effects like those seen in the image of this gown, which was created by Rosemary Jane Designs.
